Aishwarye Dubey is a maritime lawyer and advocate with over a decade of experience in ship collision, cargo claims, P&I insurance, and oil & gas contracts. He serves as Maritime Lawyer & Advisor at A.P. Møller Maersk and Principal Associate at Lardner North & Co., Kochi. He holds an LL.M in Maritime Laws from Gujarat Maritime University.

Aishwarye Dubey is one of India’s leading maritime lawyers, with over a decade of experience across major incident management, cargo disputes, marine insurance, seafarer claims, and oil & gas contracts. He currently serves as Maritime Lawyer & Advisor at A.P. Møller Maersk (Mumbai) and Principal Associate at Lardner North & Co. (Kochi). Prior to private practice, he was Associate Fellow at the National Maritime Foundation, where he contributed to policy deliberations with NITI Aayog, the Ministry of External Affairs, and the Indian Navy. Aishwarye Dubey is a seasoned maritime lawyer and advocate with over a decade of experience at the intersection of corporate shipping, major incident management, and international maritime policy. He currently serves as Maritime Lawyer & Advisor at A.P. Møller Maersk — the world’s largest container shipping line — where he handles ship collisions, onboard cargo fires including EV fires, hull and machinery claims, cargo disputes, and crew claims. He is simultaneously Principal Associate at Lardner North & Co. (Kochi), where his practice covers the full spectrum of maritime commercial law including demurrage, marine insurance, oil & gas contracts, charterparty disputes, and commercial mediation. Prior to private practice, Aishwarye served as Associate Fellow at the National Maritime Foundation (New Delhi), contributing to maritime policy at NITI Aayog, the Ministry of External Affairs, and the Ministry of Defence, and co-organising the Indo-Pacific Regional Dialogue 2021. He is Visiting Faculty at Rashtriya Raksha University, Senior Arbitrator at the International Maritime Arbitration Moot Court (NLU Odisha & Swansea University, UK), and a regular Guest Author for Marex Magazine. His students have achieved Global Ranks 4, 37, and 49 at the International Maritime Olympiad 2026. He holds an LL.M in Maritime Laws from Gujarat Maritime University and a B.A. LL.B (Hons.) from NLU Odisha.
